9th Grade Projects

Research Overview

In 9th grade, I was grateful to be allowed to partake in competitions such as TOSHIBA and many more. I spent 9th grade studying high-level physics and tackled units such as uniform motion, and more. One of the biggest highlights in 9th grade was the TOSHIBA Exploravision project which my group competed. The TOSHIBA Exploravision competition is where high school students are to identify an issue in the STEM field and then prepare a solution to address this problem. We developed a new coating to address issues with NASA's gravitational wave detector (LIGO). In the section below, all significant work from freshman year is included. Freshman year was a pivotal year when it came to my abilities as a scientific researcher as I was able to start writing professional papers, was able to participate in advanced labs, and more!
